A Super Mario ROM Hack aggregator/archive thing
Tortured Souls 3 DEMO
Initially starting as a DLC for Tortured Souls 2, this project quickly showed to have more potential than I felt I could fit into a “smaller dlc”. Heavily inspired by Schema Tuna’s Mycelium, as well as commercial projects such as dark souls 3, blasphemous 2 and nine sols, this hack aims to further explore the idea of “what can a kaizo hack be”.
Things to note:
This is a demo, things are subject to change. That said, this is basically like a condensed version of what the final hack will be, so I’d go in expecting a decent amount of polish, and not a “playtester experience”
-The exit count is misleading. Because there are no traditional goalposts/orbs in this hack, I had to decide between no exits or pushing the definition of “exit” a bit. in this case, every major checkpoint/ area unlock counts as an exit, and that will be displayed on the exit counter. The exit count is technically accurate; however, you will make progress much faster than you normally would in an expert hack of this scope
