The Devious Four Chronicles 3: The Crater

Mario has bested the King Koopa, Bowser, time and time again. He has stopped boos from taking over and even giant frogs. However, not long ago, he foiled the attempt of two otherworldly beings named Racter and Magna, from distorting his world’s magnetic field. Mario bested Racter, but not before he could call for help.

Mario must now face off against an enemy like no other he has seen… two enemies! He must be quick, for they have built a devious super weapon that could very well turn the Mushroom Kingdom and more into nothing more than a parking lot! He’s not alone though, traveling with him is yet another otherworldly being who seems to know the two villains.

(Updated to 1.2, which fixes a glitch with the beams and the flaming skull no longer crashes the game)

Part 1:  The Story

If you're reading this, then that means you have downloaded the First Episode (Technically) of the
most intense story in Super Mario World hacking.  You're about to dive into a series that many have
come to love and enjoy!  You are about to experience "THE DEVIOUS FOUR CHRONICLES"!  While you may 
not completely understand who this Racter person is, do know that scene is only in there to set up
for the prequels.  To keep things short:

Racter is a being from another world who came to the Mushroom Kingdom with a friend of his named
Magna.  They both tried to take it over.  That's simply all there is to it.  Mario does not like
Racter or Magna.  Be expecting their episodes in the near future!

While the opening cutscene with Racter may confuse you, do know that will not keep you from
understanding the rest of the story.  Also, if you just want to play the game and not experience
the story, just press the START button on your controller.

Part 2: Difficulty

There's not much to be said about this, but those playing with a controller may want to put it down
and play with your keyboard instead.  This game is difficult and was not designed to be played with
a controller.  Use a controller at your own risk, unless you're better with a controller than you 
are with the keyboard, in which case it's encouraged!

The difficulty is fair for the most part.

Part 3: Bugs

This hack has been thoroughly tested, but there is always the chance that we of the Devious Four
Team or our testers have missed something.  We aren't paid to do this, we produced this product 
for you free of charge.  If you do encounter an error, do post in our WIP Thread or send me, Skewer
 or Antimatterhunter, a PM detailing your error.

Part 4: Other Information

Do not rip anything from this hack.  Ask permission from the Author (Skewer) before you do anything regarding this SMW Rom hack.
Skewer does not claim ownership on Super Mario (World).  He does claim ownership of the original graphics, which
is a majority of graphics in the rom.  He claims ownership of the story, and of the original characters in the rom hack.  They ARE copyrighted.

This hack has some long levels at points.  These levels have more than one midway point.
This hack is compatible with: ZSNES, SNES9x, Higan/BSNES High-Accurate version. 
(I have not tested on Performance or Balanced versions.  Use those at your own risk)

	 BIG UPDATE: Flame Skull enemies no longer crash the game randomly when killed: They don't crash the game at all now.
