Super Mario Yggdrasil is a SMW hack with the soul of an RPG Join Mario and his allies on a journey to save the kingdom of Midgard from the Fimbulwinter. Face bosses, solve puzzles, and uncover the personal stories of each team member.

What you need to know before playing: 1 - This hack is story-focused, much like classic RPGs, so there’s a lot of dialogue — but 98% of the story is optional, for those who prefer to focus on gameplay. 2 - The stages are quite long, so you might die near a save point and have to backtrack a good distance. 3 - If those two points aren’t an issue for you, you’re sure to enjoy this journey through Midgard.
