A Super Mario ROM Hack aggregator/archive thing
Super Mario: Ucronia
This is an old project i worked months ago. It doesn’t contain a great ASM, but is has some custom graphics coming from well known games. Read the Readme for more info and for know what is exactely an “Uchronia” (italian = ucronia).
Storyline: Mario and the princess Toadstool live together in peace. So much that even Bowser was not willing to commit another kidnapping again. However, far far away from the Mushroom Kingdom there is a failed mad doctor called Jalui Majin (it is not Majin Buu, for your information) that is always searching power sources to conquer the world. So, he went to know about the Mushroom Kingdom and of Mario and his unlikely heroic actions. Majin thinks that kidnapping the princess and trapping Mario in the time would be a very good idea to get rid of the poor plumber. Aftermath, Majin brings the princess to the prehistory of the mushroom kingdom and ovbiously, Mario tries to save the princess again! To play around Mario, Majin moves pipes, question and coin blocks, pyramids, fortresses to the prehistory. This is just a trap, though! Mario gets to the virtual fort, defeats Majin and gets to the princess, but… the princess doesn’t come with Mario, for an unknown reason. Mario is falling on the portal. Mario thinks that could try to get to the prehistory again, but he is wrong. There is something of strange that will happen after Mario gets to the present…

Exactely... what is an ucronia?

An ucronia, or spelled better, "uchronia" is an alternative historical event. For example, how America would have been called if Amerigo Vespucci was not who gave that name?

How to play? Where is the ROM file? Why is this an IPS
--------------------------------------------
First of all, since ROMs are illegal, we can't redistribuite those files. So, we use IPS patches. To use easily those patches, you need:
Lunar IPS, the tool in the following link: http://www.smwcentral.net/download.php?id=39&type=tools
A USA Super Mario World ROM file with extention .smc ("look for Super Mario World (U)")
the patch of extention .ips
Open the tool and you will see "Apply IPS patch" and "Create IPS patch" You are interested to apply the patch, yes? Well, select "Apply IPS patch" and it will say you to select an IPS file.
So, open the IPS file, aftermath you must select a ROM file, in this case, of extention .smc Finally you have done it! Enjoy the game :)

Where do i get a Super Mario World (U) ROM

About the game

It is just another regular Super Mario World hack. Before you play you need to know that this hack is not easy: this is an old project and in that time i was a person that had a hard level design. Indeed, i made it easier than
the beta version i relased a time. Sometimes you need savestates for little hard parts. i don't want many people gets to know about this game before being relased, so i have tested this hack myself. There should not be many horrible bugs.
In many contents of this hack i got inspiration to hacks like The Second Reality Project 2: the reason is not supplanting or be better of SMW hackers like FPI (we are taling about of TSRP series), but i want people enjoy a hack like
every other hacks, even if in some cases people don't think so. The game uses some SMW2:Yoshi's island graphics. Maybe, even if a bit preposterous, i could decrase the difficulty in the next levels :) I have a lot of ideas for this, like
an egyptian pyramid on the grassland, probably Robotnik Milkman instead of a mad doctor, underwater penguins and much other paradoxes!
I got inspiration from an italian Disney comic i have read yers ago. There are some few glitches that anyone would care so much. I am sure that this time we won't have overworld event glitches, since i inserted correctly
my title screen movie. So, i give a hint: After installed the recording ASM and then inserted the savestate with the moves, UNINSTALL THE RECORDING ASM ALREADY! THIS IS AN ADVICE!
