My Hack

This is My Hack. I initially made it in 2022 as a means to put to paper my observations from playing and watching Super Mario World and its romhacks. It’s largely glitch abuse, what we now endearingly call kuso. It’s also incessant, and the quality varies wildly. It’s simply whatever I wanted it to be. The overworld is open. The goal of the hack should be apparent after completing an exit or two. Credit goes to the SMWC Kaizo Pack for this idea.

My thanks to  Kevin for addressing my stupid concerns as always, to  xHF01x for his infinite help, and to the kuso enjoyers rooting for this hack’s release. Additionally, my sincerest thanks to everyone who has contributed to the growth and exploration of SMW, in one way or another. I owe you all so much.

I’m often more fond of solving rather than executing when it comes to kaizo and its many subgenres, and I would recommend the same approach here. Though I don’t recommend spoiling yourself if you intend to see this hack through, I have recorded a clear video for all exits. It can be found here.
