Moon Finder

This small hack is a moon hunt within SMW, in the vein of Super Mario Odyssey’s Hint Art moons. The download contains the hack itself, some text files, and the most important thing of all: the Hint Arts. Directly inspired by the Super Mario 64 hack “Wario’s Hint Art” by Lawnmowerman.
We would strongly recommend reading the “Info” text file provided, as it contains some essentials on gameplay, among other things.

Info.txt
This hack was a small side project from Fyre150 and Myself (ItsMegaScott) with some assembly help from Abdu; after being inspired to make an SMW version of an odyssey moon hunt when Fyre had found and played an SM64 hack (Wario's Hint Art By Lawnmowerman) of the concept.
Important information pertaining to the gameplay involves an added Ground Pound ability triggered by double tapping [Down] while in midair within a brief window of time.
You cannot perform this action while in water, flying, riding yoshi, or climbing and this can be cancelled at any time by hitting [Up] to stop your downward movement.
Please note that this is not a form of attack, doing so above or into an enemy will likely result in dying or taking damage.
All Seven (7) vanilla moon locations have been removed from the hack as to not disrupt any assembly or counters, besides we have new moons to collect anyway.
The levels themself will have no additional indications of the locations of any moons so please refer to the 'hint arts' to find them.
When moons are found by the player; simply Ground Pound the location as indicated by the 'hint arts' to reveal the moon and then collect them.
Beating the level is not required and start select will always be enabled.
Levels with a collected moon will show as such on the overworld as indicated next to the level's name in addition to the moon itself being permanently revealed and turned blue in said level; when revisited.
The full vanilla overworld is available with no events, increased base movement speed (Doubled) as well as more connected paths for convenience have been added.
All paths will be shown with indication when present on any given tile showing which directions can be used to move.
Additionally the L and R buttons can be used to cycle the player through various Yoshi colours and Powerup states for convenient usage in any levels.
These powerup states and yoshis should persist between retry prompts to save you some time in case you happened to die somewhere
Moving on the overworld with a Yoshi will further increase your movement speed (Tripled).
I personally would recommend against it but; if you want to use lunar magic to help you find some locations or look at levels. Please use a VANILLA smc/sfc and not this Hack's smc/sfc.
This rom has been scrambled to prevent any kind of lame cheaty nonsense as the moon locations will be visible in the level editor and will spoil the answers for you; which goes against the fun of the project.
Included are the set of randomly numbered 'Hint Arts' designed by the two of us for locations in the vanilla game for you to find; inspired by the original styles of hint art from Super Mario Odyssey as well as our own unique ideas and takes on the concepts.
Please feel free to do the 'Hint Arts' in any order you would like but keep in mind 'Hint Art 00' will be vital for you to actually begin playing the hack as it acts as a form of basic tutorial.
Enjoy the hack.
