[Marisa Unamused] Dammit, I thought I'd finally get a solo outing! But noooooo, it has to be Marisa and Reimu!
[Reimu Sad] Yeah, would've been nice to have some solo adventures...
[Reimu Sad] ...
[Reimu Happy] We can ask Russ to change the hack's name to be Marisa or Reimu (but hopefully Reimu)
[Marisa Happy] You're right! Let's go and find him (And pray he change it to Marisa)!

And so. Marisa and Reimu are teamed up to search for Russ. Will they find him? Will they get their own solo adventures? Maybe? I dunno.

Tutorial Level:
[Reimu Woah] Wow! A Tutorial Level!
[Marisa Unumused] Why does it look so minimalistic?
[Reimu Happy] Well, it doesn't need to be Super-FX Mode 7 HD Widescreen to convey gameplay basics.
[Marisa Smug] I guess so.
[Marisa Happy] Well, this is gonna be a piece of cake!
[Reimu Happy] Well, if the player doesn't betray our expectations that is.
[Marisa Happy] Yeah, don't be like Cuphead journalists!

Beach:
[Reimu Woah] Wow! A beach!
[Reimu Happy] I wanna take a swim!
[Reimu Sad] Too bad we didn't bring swimsuits...
[Reimu Happy] [Marisa Unumused] Reimu, remember about our mission!
[Reimu Sad] Oh, yeah. Russ.
[Reimu Happy] It looks like we have to swim anyway to get to him.
[Marisa Unamused] Uhh, you'll be swimming, not me. I can't.
[Reimu Woah] Why?
[Marisa Unamused] Promise you won't laugh if I tell you.
[Reimu Happy] I won't!
[Marisa Unamused] ...
[Marisa Unamused] That's because of the bet I lost to him some time ago.
[Marisa Happy] If I could do a triple flip straight into the ocean.
[Marisa Smug] And I actually did the triple flip! That was cool.
[Marisa Unamused] Unfortunately, I hit rocks instead of water.
[Marisa Unamused] That was not cool. Since then the embarrasment has been weighting me down.
[Marisa Unamused] Literally. I sink like a rock.
[Marisa Unamused] ...
[Marisa Happy] Hey, you didn't laugh!
[Reimu Happy] I promised I won't laugh (although it's hard to resist...)
[Reimu Happy] (I'll need to tell that to everyone. Comedy gold.)
[Reimu Sad] I'm sorry to hear that. I hope you were alright.
[Marisa Unamused] No serious injuries, I'm a video game character after all.
[Marisa Unamused] I feel no pain.
[Marisa Unamused] But I'll need to tell Russ how I really feel about that.
[Marisa Shout] Let's not waste our time, let's go!

Windy Beach
[Reimu Sad] Aww, the weather's getting worse! I wanted to take a swim...
[Marisa Unamused] Didn't we take a swim in water tiles in previous level?
[Reimu Sad] Yeah, but I wanted to take a relaxing kind of swim, y'know?
[Marisa Unamused] But yeah, it's gonna rain soon. And the wind is strong...
[Marisa Shout] Uh oh, I feel like i'm being blown away!
[Reimu Woah] Me too! But we should be able to proceed with my dash ability!
[Marisa Shout] Let's find a cover!

Ghost House:
[Reimu Woah] Wow! A Ghost House!
[Marisa Unumused] I'm pretty sure it'll be a boring one.
[Boo] Howdy! My name is Richter [idk about name, random], and you're in for a ride! BWAHAHAHA!
[Reimu Woah] Wow! A ghost! Are you gonna curse us or something?
[Richter] Eh? We don't normally curse people. We just like to humilate and scare people. Unless that's what you expected...
[Marisa Shout] Oh, for christ's sake, we'll be leaving!
[Richter] Not so fast, madams! For giggles, I'll cast an ancient curse!
[Richter] You won't be able to switch characters with L/R, only with certain timing!
[Richter] Whatever that means.
[Richter] NYAHAHAHAHA!
[Marisa Unumused] Great, now we're cursed. Just great, I always wished to be cursed.
[Reimu Happy] You're welcome!
[Marisa Shout] THAT WAS SARCASM!!! Let's get out of here!

Lava level (maybe):
[Reimu Woah] Wow! A Volcano!
[Marisa Unamused] Wow, we're gonna burn to death!
[Marisa Shout] Stop wowing, and focus on the mission.
[Reimu Sad] Ugh, it's so hot here, I'm sweating. I feel like I'm melting...
[Marisa Smug] I didn't know you're a living popsicle!
[Reimu Sad] Seriously though, the overheating is dangerous! Let's get out of here!

last level:
[Reimu Happy] This must be the very last level
[Marisa Unamused] How do you know this IS the last level?
[Reimu Happy] Because of the epic last level music, of course!
[Marisa Happy] If you say so, then I'm super happy we made it this far!
[Marisa Shout] Russ, we're coming!

[part 2 maybe (UNUSED)]
[Marisa Unamused] Are those conveyor belts?
[Reimu Happy] They're here to test player's dexterity, I think.
[Marisa Unamused] Well, of course. The random gimmicks keep on coming even at the final moments.
[Reimu Happy] The vertical ones are designed for your wall stick ability and will move you.
[Marisa Unamused] Pretty sure the player would've figured that out without your assistance.
[Reimu Sad] Sorry for trying to be helpful.
[Marisa Smug] Nah, that's ok (though the player may skip this cutscene, so it doesn't really matter).
[Marisa Smug] (They get a message box explanation anyway.)

Ending Scene:
[Marisa Shout] We're finally here! Russ, we want to talk to you!
[Reimu Woah] Hey, look, a letter!
[Marisa Unumused] What does it say?
[Reimu Woah] "Sorry, Russ isn't in this hack at all."
[Reimu Happy] "He went on a new adventure in a different hack. Sincerely, RussianMan, Russ."
[Marisa Shout] Great, now what?
[Reimu Happy] We just have to get a sequel and resolve this problem there!
[Marisa Unamused] But I want a solo adventure so bad!
[Marisa Smug] Just imagine, Super Marisa World!
[Marisa Unamused] ...very original name, I know. I'd think of it later.
[Reimu Sad] Me too, I want a solo adventure also...
