Mario's Strange Quest v1.6: by Yoshifanatic

In Marios Strange Quest, formally known as Super Mario World Custom 2, Mario embarks on a quest to find the seven Yoshi
eggs that Bowser stole. Why did Bowser steal the eggs in the first place? You have to play to find out! If you thought
this will be a typical quest, you thought wrong. You wont always know what to expect; what kind of bizarre obstacles
will Mario face on his journey?

This hack features:
-Custom Graphics
-Custom Music
-79 exits
-Lots of Level Variety
-Custom Overworld. Credit goes to Corruptendo for making the overworld.
-Custom Blocks
-Custom Sprites
-SNES compatibility

Updates in v1.1:
-Lava Cavern is now has more going on and is less bland.
-Soda Lake is now less bland.
-In Forest Ride, there is now a way to tell the difference between ON/OFF blocks you have to hit and ones you should not hit,
but I will leave you to figure that out...
-Forest Ride has now been fixed so it is no longer possible to get stuck while riding a Yoshi.
-In Coin Land, I moved the P-Switches a little closer to each other and removed the kaizo-ish trap at the end. (Before,
you had to press a P-Switch before the goal to make the blocks behind the goal solid. Unlike in the kaizo hacks, you could
see it coming and I drew an arrow pointing towards a nearby P-Switch, but I figured I should remove it before it became
a problem.)
-I added an extra level to the hack.
-I took better (probably) screenshots.
-The item shop is now cement block free.
-It's not like it mattered or anything, but I changed the message that a Yoshi says when you first free him. He now
makes a reference to the Super Mario World Cartoon.

Updates in v1.2:
-I fixed the fatal flaw where Mario starts on the test map instead of the star road map.
-I removed the blind jump at the end of Coin Land.
-I added an extra level.
-I moved the second coin arrow in Frost Cave to the right because it was created a tough to get past obstacle, if you
pressed the P-Switch before then.

Updates in v1.3:
-Fixed the minor amount of cutoff on the overworld.
-Removed the boiling mud from Super Koopa Plains and removed two charging chucks from the bridge area to reduce slowdown.
-The title screen now has the name of the hack in it.
-Replaced the oddly colored note blocks with something else.
-In Super Koopa Plains, the row of invisible coin blocks has been moved up two rows to make it less likely they will get in
the way. (They are there to keep Mario from taking the upper path in that level if Mario falls to the lower path.)
-Made the blue coin blocks yellow.
-Removed some enemies from Lava Cavern to reduce slowdown.
-Changed Forest Ride so that it is even less of a guessing game and replaced the purple coins with something else.
-Shortened Muncher Forest, added coins, removed the cement block wall, added enemies, and changed what Mario has to do in
the level. He no longer uses stars to run through a forest of munchers.
-Fixed the cutoff tile in Snow Pass.
-Changed the palette of the ground in Soda Lake and moved the message in the first message block up a bit.
-Replaced the cement blocks in Forest Ride and Snow Pass with something less bland.
-Added some decoration to Super Koopa Plains.

Updates to v1.4
-A custom overworld has been made.
-The title screen demo has been changed.
-The item shop now looks more like an item shop.
-The intro has been changed.
-The P-switch glitch has finally been fixed.
-Some songs now sound better.
-The snow in Snow Pass is animated better now.
-There are now four worlds instead of one.
-Many levels now contain Yoshi coins.
-Some levels have been changed at least a little. Snow Pass no longer has a pipe at the end, Frost Cave's theme is now the
same across all parts of that level, etc.
-Changed the sample bank used in the bonus game back to the default one.
-There are more levels. Need I say more?

Updates to v1.5
-Changed the title.
-Improved the spacing of the text in the message blocks.
-Added ExGFX to some levels to improve their look.
-More levels are accessible.
-Moved around several Yoshi coins to make them more difficult to get.
-Changed title screen music and demo.
-I made several Hex edits to the hack.
-Custom palettes were used much more extensively.
-The overworld has fewer flaws, is better decorated, and it now has a custom palette.
-Fixed the glitch where Mario walks a little higher than he is supposed to on the overworld.
-Some levels are longer now.
-A few levels have different music now.
-The FastROM patch has been used, reducing slowdown.
-The yellow switch palace has been altered to make it work, no matter what.
-Some levels have been modified a little, like in Super Koopa Plains, the invisible coin blocks have been replaced with
upside down clouds.
- In water levels that you are not allowed to break, I fixed the graphics of the hidden death blocks just in case
the emulator that you use allows you to see the top most row of pixels in the lowest row (the one that can't be seen
in game.)

Updates to v1.6
-This version is more compatible with bsnes than the previous version, meaning this version can be played on a real SNES with
relatively few problems.
-The major sound glitch that occurred with some songs is now fixed, because the jump sound has been disabled.
-I've added several custom sprites to the hack.
-Many levels have been altered, either a little or a lot.
-Because I switched to BlockTool Super Deluxe, slowdown is less likely to occur. It shouldn't happen now,
and if it does, it will most likely be minimal.
-A few levels now have different music in them.
-I've improved the graphics a lot. There are now many more custom backgrounds than before.
-The overall difficulty is slightly higher than before.
-There are more levels, which is pretty obvious.
-Mushroom Plateau has been replaced with a new level. I felt that it was the least interesting level in the hack.
-I applied several patches to the hack. Most of them might not be noticeable, though.
-The overworld has more decorations in it, making it a little more interesting.
-I added more secrets to the hack.

Glitches:
-In some levels, some of the sound effects are different from the other levels because I used a custom sample bank. In those
levels, Mario's hearing is acting weird, though he no longer states that.
-If you are playing on bsnes, be aware that a static noise may play whenever the music changes. I did my best to preven that,
but it may still occur.
-Three levels have backgrounds that don't fade completely, however, I don't think it looks bad. I'm not sure if I should fix
it or not.
-Two songs sound higher pitched than they are supposed to. I know amost nothing about making music as of this writing, so I
have no idea how to fix them.
- The green switch palace creates yellow blocks on the overworld. I don't understand why, especially since it didn't do that
in the previous version, and I didn't alter any colors on the overworld.
