Story: Bowser didn’t only steal the gifts, but kinapped Santa Claus as well! Without Santa, no one can deliver them!

The demo ends after the third castle is beaten.

ABOUT:
------
Just like The Quest for the Candies, this hack is going to have 5 worlds, just like Halloween hacks, as almost all Christmas hacks are either only 1 level or 1 world long. Though this isn't the Christmas themed hack with more than 1 world, one hack with more than 1 world is SMW: Christmas Edition by Nowieso. Work on this hack started in early December 2019, and work on world 2 started in late October and finished in November, to give me time to make and release a New Year themed mini hack.

In 2021, I couldn't work on world 3 until the latter half of December due to the Hackjam event.

23/12/2019: Demo 1 is released.
22/10/2020: Work on world 2 started.
19/12/2020: Tommitalia begins testing demo 2.
20/12/2020: N450 tests demo 2.
24/12/2020: Tommitalia finishes testing demo 2 and the demo is released on the same day.
26/12/2020: Demo 2.0.2 update is released.
31/12/2020: Demo 2.0.3 update is released (to the public, originally the date in the readme was 27/12/2020).
01/01/2021: Demo 2.0.4 update is released.
16/12/2021: Work on world 3 started.
24/12/2021: World 3 is finished.
25/12/2021: N450 tests demo 3.0.
27/12/2021: Demo 3 is released.

Demo 3.0 (27/12/2021):
* Added world 3 levels.
* Fixed a softlock in #1 Larry's Castle by removing 2 invisible blocks.
* Edited Frozen Lakes 1 BG palette to be more blue tinted.
* Jump sound is now accurate to the vanilla game.
* Added some more decorations to the Frozen Lakes portion of the main map.
* Events now reveal faster.
* Added red lights to the decorations of levels that were missing them.
* Fixed cutoff in the switch room and made it slippery.
* Fixed victory song when defeating Larry.
* Changed Buzzy Beetle graphics in Frigid Cavern 2 to the penguin ones for consistency.
* Altered the message in Snow Plains 3 to mention Flurries can be killed with fireballs as well.
* Increased the time of Snow Plains 4 to 500 seconds.
* Changed the design of the sprite solid blocks to the ones from JUMP 1/2.
* Removed the time limit from the "Unimplemented" level that's past the "End of Demo 3" level, which also doesn't have a time limit.

Demo 2.0.4 (01/01/2021):
* Altered the message in the secret exit room in Snow Plains 3 to now mention pressing L+R instead of entering in the pipe to reset the room. I forgot to update it when I released 2.0.3.

Demo 2.0.3 (31/12/2020):
* Fixed "icle" typo in the message box in Frigid Cavern 2.
* Fixed softlock in Frigid Cavern 4 where the keyhole is by adding an upside down cloud.
* Fixed item memory in some sublevels.
* In the secret exit room in Snow Plains 3, you now reset by pressing L+R.

Demo 2.0.2 (26/12/2020):
* Fixed unenterable pipe that leads to a bonus room in Frigid Cavern 3.
* Moved a crystal at the end of Frigid Cavern 4 so a vine doesn't end up cutting it.

Demo 2.0.1 (Unavailable):
* Fixed unenterable reset pipe in the secret exit room in Snow Plains 3.

Demo 2 (24/12/2020):
* New title screen logo and made some adjustments to the logo palette.
* Added world 2 levels and the remaining OW maps.
* Reskinned more enemies: Spike Top, Buzzy Beetle
* Replaced the SMM2 SMB 3 snow theme with LadiesMan217's port of the same song.
* Updated the IceCap Zone port.
* Replaced the song in Snow Plains 4 with the Ice Mountain Act 1 theme from Sonic Advance.
* Replaced the song in #1 Larry's Castle with the Candion theme from Jazz Jackrabbit. The previous theme (Final Fantasy II - Castle Pandemonium) will be used in the final castle.
* Replaced the boss theme with the Crystal King battle theme from Paper Mario. Similar to the Castle Pandemonium theme, the previous theme (Touhou Koumakyou ~ the Embodiment of Scarlet Devil - Tomboyish Girl in Love) will be used in the final battle.
* Replaced the course clear theme with the level up fanfare from EarthBound (@2 version).
* Jump sound effect now sounds closer to the original.
* Added decoration trees to #1 Larry's Castle.
* Made some changes in the world 2 map, such as adding trees and altering the layout to add a waterfall and a lake.
* Edited some OW graphics.
* Remade world 1 layer 2 events.
* OW events now reveal faster.
* Added 3 patches:
  * SMB3 Powerdown patch (with smoke when taking damage), this is to make gameplay slightly easier.
  * Item Box Mushroom Priority Fix, this is to make mushrooms not replace fire flowers when having a fire flower in reserve.
  * Move Layer 3 to Subscreen Fix, this is necessary for Frigid Cavern 4 as the BG in that level makes use of layer 3 behind layer 2.
* The Switch Palace and the inside of the Toad House are now slippery.
* The water in #1 Larry's Castle now doesn't instantly kill you, now it simply hurts you if you stay on it for longer than a second.
* Fixed pink in throw block in Snow Plains 2.
* Added a message block to the secret exit sublevel in Snow Plains 3 and made the pipe reenterable.
* Altered the message before the Larry boss in #1 Larry's Castle.
* Increased the time limit in Snow Plains 3 by 100 seconds.
