Level - 2023 Remaster

Released:

Difficulty: 10

A glitch puzzle level originally from 2015/16 that I came back to in 2023 to finish and then released in 2024.

It is a rather big level with a lot of subpuzzles that span multiple rooms making it not the easiest glitch puzzle out there. Since this was originally from 2015/16 most of the glitches required are ones somewhat well known nowadays though. It also features some more Tools-Kaizo-like obstacles like tight p-switch timers or jumps, though I did remove a lot of the worse ones in the end.

There is not anything in particular this hack focuses on, it’s a puzzle made of a variety of glitches that I knew back then.

This hack was made using Lunar Magic 2.42

credits and resources.txt

I've tried my best to gather all the original creators of the resources this hack used but since this hack is quite old originally I might've missed some or couldn't identify whose resource I used back then.

For blocks I credited everyone who had their names in the asm file, files without names that I couldn't find matches for on the site are listed as ? here.
Some links link to rejection/removal logs if I found that they have been removed/deprecated
Links to the resources might not be accurate to the version used in the hack since some blocks have undergone remoderation or modifications have been made that I do not remember.
Stuff I made myself/with Blockreator is not included in this list.

readme.txt

This is a level I made back in 2015-2016 then more or less abandoned until I went back and added an ending to it in 2023.

It's a fairly long glitch-puzzle level over multiple rooms and iterations. It being a hack I made in 2015/6 also means the level was made without a lot of glitches that are now more well-known in mind.
While I did try my best to breakproof the most important things and make the intended solution feel intended, it is still most likely possible to sequence break some of it. I do encourage you to try and find the intended solutions however.

Here is a non-exhaustive list of glitches that definitely are not intended but are also generally not fixed:
 - Remote controlled on/off switches (kind of on thin ice with one intended trick but generally, do not delay activating on/off switches from afar by scrolling items into it)
 - Walljumps/corner clips/yoshi elevator/etc
 - Yoshi tongue offscreen shenanigans
 - Spawn index transferral
 - Duplicating blocks from a distance
 - Duplicating sprites by offscreening them on Yoshis tongue
 - Fish item swaps (or any kind of offscreen item-swap)
 - Midair shelljumps
 - Arbitrary Code Execution (I don't think I need to say that but here we are)

Looping sprites might be intended if the room has no time limit. In those cases, this version adds asm that will shorten the amount of time required to loop a sprite drastically. If a room naturally starts with time, looping is never intended.

Special Thanks to xHF01x and dacin for testing this and always giving me more breaks to fix :)
