The player remains stuck, lost in limbo. The only way forward is to come to terms with the past and that which you’ve lost. While the player is near-immortal, they are powerless to lift themselves off their feet without any external aid.
Can you help them, or will they remain stuck and all alone, flooded by memories of the past; unable to accept what’s already been done.
This hack is not for everyone. It drastically changes the physics and is just very dark and depressing. I set out to make something weird and unique, and some people just aren’t gonna vibe with it, but there’s nothing wrong with that.
Initially this was gonna be some dumb horror hack, but I got so attached to the physics that I decided to make something larger. While said dumb horror ideas were out the window, and since I started feeling some weird connection to what I was making, I decided to center the story of this hack around a sort of nightmare I’ve had for nearly a decade at this point. A nightmare that very well could’ve been a reality…
That aside, there are 7 main levels, a credits level, and a level that I used to just call the bonus one, but beating it is the only way to unlock the credits so take that with a grain of salt. For what to expect, most of the hack is something along the lines of puzzle kaizo.

WARNING: the main version of this hack contains very heavy subject matter such as suicide. There is a patch labeled “limbo safe.bps” that removes these themes and by extension the secrets and final story bits. Please be advised and stay safe <3

You're completely unable to get P-speed
The levels in red do NOT have a secret exit, they are simply Act 0 and the credits. They're just different colors to better seperate them from the main game. Also partially there because some people didn't immediately notice the credits level, and it's not like I blame them lol.
Saving midways can be a little finicky, so I'd encourage making savestates after a session. Also as to why, I honestly got no clue. It shouldn't be a problem aside from Act 0 and maybe 7 just because of how long they are.
The beginning of the hack isn't particularly difficult, but as you go through the levels and get more used to the physics changes, the challenge increases with each level. Act 7 being the final test of your skill and what you've learned. Just as a warning for Act 7 specifically, I set out to create the craziest/most impressive level I possibly could with these physics, and the difficulty is very reflective of that.
If you're playing the normal version of the hack, I would highly recommend finding all of the secrets before finishing Act 7, and especially for Act 0. If you can't find them or simply don't care, check the description of the video I linked on the SMWC page

Just putting this here as a little tip, there's a specific trick that's very difficult in this hack. You can find it at the end of the 2nd section of the 2nd level if you ever want to practice. It's used in 3 other places, 2 of which are in Act 0, and it's up to you to recognize them.
