Krack The Hack

Krack the Hack is a short 14-exit hack where you play as a recently-transformed Koopa who is tasked to collect keys to save the Rixzo Army from the evil clutches of Bowser. Each stage has at least 4 keys required to beat the stages, with a twist in each level to make them all a new experience. The game starts easy, and then quickly ramps up in difficulty from beginning to end, to post-end. Each stage contains a moon to find, and something else as well.
Can you get through all 14 stages and find all the secrets?
Those who downloaded anything under v1.3.0 must read the readme for more info about compatibility. “Speedrun Mode” is available to speed up the game. Please read the readme for more information!
This version (v1.4.1) fixes various wrong warps, achievement logic, status bar fixes, and more.

QUICK NOTE ABOUT SAVE FILES AND v1.3.0+
Save files *should* carry over from versions earlier
than 1.3.0 to this update without issue but some
weirdness may occur, of noteworthy:
-If you already got every moon, the new moon in
Sokobansolvermanianicazen sins won't undo your status.
Getting the moon will simply add it to display in the
status menu.
-After completing some levels you have already beaten,
you may get a message about a hidden place unlocking,
even if all the hidden levels have been discovered.
Please report any issues in regards to problems with
save data not noted here.

SPEEDRUNNER NOTES:
-L+R+A+Start added as a button combo for various
actions targeted towards improving speedrun
experience:
-When pressed on the title screen, it
automatically unlocks Speedrun Mode for those
who just want to speed run it right away
without having to unlock it.
-When pressed in a level and not in dying state,
Krack will be killed with quick death
transition enabled. This can be used even if
in other states such as: Taking damage,
Getting a powerup, inside a pipe, clearing
the level.

Thank you for those who downloaded this rom hack.
Those who don't know how to patch BPS files should
first download FLIPS from SMW Central's Tool
Section, then apply this to a clean Super Mario
World rom (if you're lucky to have one). To test
if it's applied successfully, you should see two
logos appear: one labled "DDV Presents" and the
other "MELLONPIZZA" followed by a Koopa with keys
following him. If you see all that, we're good. If
you just see Super Mario World with the Nintendo
logo, you're just playing the original game. Not
that it's a bad game tho, it's pretty good.
Krack the Hack takes place in the outskirts of a
warzone island called "Konamina" where a near-
extinct alien species called Rixzos fight against
the humans as revenge for framing them for a crime
they did not commit. As Krack, the "Zaicron"
leader of the Rixzos, acts out one last battle
with the humans, they find themselves near war's
end. That is when the course of the Rixzo race
changes forever...
Gameplay of Krack the Hack has the recently-
transformed Rixzo gather keys from all over Bowser
Valley II and Konamina, with most levels having
around four, eight, one, or several keys each.
These keys are required to free the Rixzos from
the evil clutches of Bowser Koopa the Second.
NOTE: When there is a scrolling stage, there are
more than 4 keys to get simply because there will
be keys you will miss.
(Disclaimer: Bowser Koopa the Second is the same
Bowser that most people are fimiliar with. In the
series backstory, there was one other before him)
Oh did I say series? Yes, well, it's part of the
Mushroom Kingdom Expanded Universe that directly
connects to Daizo's Journey: The Three Way War
and other future entries. What future entries?
Try to fit the pieces together as you play the
games. You'll find out the order nicely by
starting here!

so you can automatically get to the
questionaire between Krack and Chuckles).

level icon).
