Kaizo no Yume

















Inspired by hacks such as Invictus, Kaizo no Yume is an Intermediate vanilla/chocolate swirl hack with a relatively steep difficulty curve.
Features: -16 Challenging Levels -2 Secret Exits -4 Shortcut/Transition Exits -A “Learn 2 Kaizo”-esque mini-hack in the opening level called Kaizo University. This features a hack tutorial as well as various sections to practice ASM and basic kaizo tricks. Improve your skills or learn something new! -New and interesting ASM -Custom sprites and music -Plenty of trolls and other nonsense (I just can’t help myself)

I included 2 versions of the rom due to some people having issues with the darken pause patch. In some instances, pausing will cause the screen to
turn black which can be detrimental. I understand this so I included a version with no darken pause.

Known Bugs:
-Possible bullet de-spawn in Pipes of Peril.
-Flame disappearing upon Yoshi being destroyed to prevent invisible Yoshi spawn.
-Grey platform sometimes doesn't spawn in first section of Sakura Tree.
-ASM causing auto-jump in 2nd section of Spookier Scarier.
-Issue with throwing up during the end autoscroll section of Blocks & Switches.
-Possible clip in the vertical section of Springs Are Jank!
-Mario death angel after unknown amount of lives/deaths.
