Q: Any jumpscares?
A: No. Rest assured, at least you don't have to stop and turn down the volume in paranoia every few steps like I do with creepypasta games.
Q: Why "I HATE YOU"?
A: I first heard of this creepypasta thanks to retsupurae's riff on it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WmITolSZ7iw . Despite the hilariousness of this video, it got me thinking. "You know, this might be very possible to achieve as an actual ROM hack". I thought it might be challenging to create, so here we are.
Q: Why is the hack locked?
A: I don't want people to take my work, edit it and claim it as their own. I do plan on releasing some of the resources I have used during this C3 (summer 2016)
Q: What emulator?
A: I tested my hack mainly in snes9x 1.52. I haven't tested other emulators, but your best bet is to grab the latest emulator of your choice. Don't use outdated versions, they might be incompatible with VitorVilela's SA-1 patch which I have used.
Q: Is this hack 100% accurate to the original story?
A: Not really. For starters, the overworld is mostly finished, you jump right into the new story. Furthermore, you don't have to run 10 to 20 minutes (although I was tempted to add that part, but it wouldn't be fun). I've also added in 1-2 silly stuff in it. Ever wondered what that bloody shroom did? Wonder no more. Also, The End screen also has music now. Speaking of which, you skip right to that screen once you beat Luigi. No need to fight your way to Bowser or anything. This hack gets straight to the point, no side-dishes. There may be other inaccuracies. Sorry if I missed them, chances are I won't be fixing it.
Q: "Beat Luigi"? I thought it was some sort of a cutscene?
A: It's the main dish ;)
