--About--
If you are reading this, then congrats; you have downloaded "Hunter and Scorpion's Bet 2: The Twilight Gem". If you're new to anything related to rom hacking, you must download a Super Mario World rom, and Lunar IPS; then patch the IPS file to the rom, and use an Emulator; ZSNES recommended, to play this.

Hunter and Scorpion's Bet 2: The Twilight Gem (Scorpion's Hunt Version) is a comedy based hack, and made to be fun while delivering laughs in a rediculously clever story. The premise is inspired by "The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess". While the premise is borrowed, the story is entirely original. You follow (more as "Control") Scorpion in his quest to simply beat Hunter in a race to the Twilight Gem.

--Game Play--
The hack is as much about level design as it is about story, but you don't have to know anything about the story to enjoy the levels. If you desire to skip a cutscene, simply press the "Start Button", whatever key you may have it set to.

Otherwise, level-wise actually, this hack contains a lot of secrets, and you're going to have to search every corner to find every one of them. There are quite a good amount of parts you'll have to figure out on your own; and as a more difficult hack than regular ones, things will not be handed over to you. (Basically, you're going to have to work for what you want.)

Do note that as the hack progresses, the levels will indefinitely get longer; and more difficult. There will be a few Marathon Levels here and there. If you dislike long levels, then I suggest you do these two things in order:
   1. Delete the hack, the rom and this readme.
   2. Do NOT go into a thread related to "Devious Four" or "Hunter and Scorpion's Bet" and flame for bad levels, chances are I'll be a smart ass and tell you to "Read the 'Readme' you troll". If you simply don't like something, don't play it.

--Changes--
Version 1.0
  Original Release

Version 1.1
Changed Intro to not reference the legend of Zelda at all. (Although a certain fairy as seen in a certain game will still be involved story wise; ofcourse, you can skip cutscenes)
Removed the "2 Player Option", now nobody can bitch about a bad pallete on the sprite and thus make it a bad hack.

Version 1.2
Fixed text errors with Title Screen, although unfortunately, this means saying "Mario" again on it. I do not know how to change this, so don't complain to me about it, just enjoy the game.
