Thanks for downloading my first kaizo romhack: Gambol!
I wanted to create this hack to give something back in my own little way to this amazing community.
Nearly a year on and off in the making, my first solo hack is inspired by the fun, wonder, style and zaniness of 90s saturday morning cartoons and video games.
My aim was for Gambol to be as vanilla as possible, with a focus on pure platforming and fun movement.
Gambol is a kaizo hack which contains 11 exits, including the two switch palaces and sits around low/mid level intermediate difficulty.
Hopfully a fair challenge for some beginner players and still a fun ride for advanced ones.

Features:
- 11 exits, including 2 switch palaces and maybe a little secret; all around low/mid intermediate difficulty.
- Vanilla platforming and non-sampled music.
- Automatically saves midways and exits
- Plenty of quality of life patches/fixes.
- Vanilla mash up GFX edits made by myself.
- Text file included of all ports used.

Version 1.1 patch notes:
- Moved/removed and added some coin indicators across several exit
- Very minor tweaks across several exits
Most notable:
- Slight nerf and better indication to second half of the Salt Mines
- Fixed inconsistencies with Rip Van Fish waking up in Pier Pressure
- Eight Secret rooms with fun riddles have been added to every main exit (Not including switch palaces and final castle)
