Foxx BGN World

Foxx BGN World is the Kaizo Beginner version of my first hack “Foxx BGG World”. BGN stands for “Board game noob” in comparision to “Board game geek” in BGG, so as you are still a Kaizo beginner, you need to play the noob version first before becoming a Geek ;)

Setups are a lot easier now, especially nearly all regrabs have been removed. Don’t play this hack as your first Kaizo hack I would suggest, it should be around mid beginner (a lot of platforming with chocolate mechanics and a good flow).

Big shoutout to HarvettFox96 and his awesome fox character sheet, which is the base for the fox player sprite, which I’ve ported to SMW! In this hack, the fox is blue to have a difference to the orange fox in the intermediate version of the hack.

Theme is about board games, as I’m a huge fan of them, as you can see on the overworld and also on the level titles :)

This version is based on the KSD-Edition update of Foxx BGG World, so here you find the changes to the original Foxx hack:

• Nearly all default graphics for muncher, sprite-killers etc. have been replaced
• A lot of backgrounds have been reworked, some with HDMA or Layer3 effects
• A lot of sprite have been “fox-ified” ;)
• Some color palettes have been reworked
• Some default foreground graphics have been replaced
• Level “Dice Forge” (2nd secret exit) has complete new graphics
