Dancer to a Discordant System












This is my first hack. My main priority was to keep things pretty simple while I was learning Lunar Magic, so it’s mostly vanilla with some exceptions here and there. Intermediate difficulty.
Features: -Autosaves every OW movement (to save a midway exit the level, walk a tile on the OW, then it is saved) -Fast Retry (not instant, uses retry/exit prompt) -No cape -One bonus shell-based level with no exits -22 exits 100% -14 exits any% -No bosses

1.1 updates: -Adjusted some music volume -Smoothed out a few obstacles for flow/readability -Fixed spelling errors -Fixed overworld jank
1.2 (final) updates: -“Blood Meridian” secret exit now actually does something, and makes more sense -“Mario’s house” now actually accessible -No secret green switch required for Rye Airfield, all rooms immediately accessible upon completion of the hack -Few big changes to “Dragonarch Keep” (aesthetics, readability) -Added a few more message boxes where things should’ve been explained better -Uppipe in “Chateau Zedelghelm” more forgiving -Divisiboos in “Overlook Fortress” updated to newest version, and have slightly less janky hitboxes -Fixed some cheese in “Overlook Fortress” and “Coffin Palace” -Made “Seine River” water level less bad overall -Sound effects in “Putney Woods” motor skills removed/fixed -Fixed line-guide platforms in “Discordant System” -One obstacle in “The Bastille” revised for flow/readability -“Zheleznodorozhny” aesthetics changed, but still can’t fix the bug that makes the level title so hard to pronounce -Overworld still kinda jank but now a little less -Removed 4 bucket in “Cloud Palace” -Other very small miscellaneous improvements
