Cuter Kaizo World




Cute Kaizo World was a hack I created in just two weeks and never thought much would become of it. A year and a few months ago, when I began work on Cuter Kaizo, I had intended it to be the same thing. Over the course of that time to now, however, Cuter Kaizo has grown very special to me, and became my first SMW project I can confidently say I’ve fallen in love with.
Many people have asked what the difficulty of it would be, and I believe the majority of it has ended up at a balance between the easiest and hardest parts of its predecessor. Overall, however, it may still be a step up, and at the higher end of the “Beginner” category.
This game features a custom boss fight made by Janklorde, whom I can’t begin to thank enough for the unbelievable work, care, and love put into it. Without him, and his creation, this hack would not have been nearly as special to me as it now is.

In the final boss kills Mario upon either event that the second chance powerup goes offscreen uncollected, or Mario takes damage having already collected the second chance powerup, ultimately removing the necessity to ever be forced to “commit sudoku” in order to try again

In the final boss fixed an issue related to when and where the second chance power up can spawn, effectively removing the possibility of it spawning above the screen, or any other location where the player wouldn’t be able to collect it
