Incarcerated after a bender with the turtle police Mario has escaped his prison and has one thing on his mind, Vengeance. CowaBunga is a kaizo hack with a focus on precision platforming, custom ASM, and small bits of item abuse.

This hack has a linear structure and contains 19 unique levels with 23 exits.

1.1 Patch Notes:

• The 6 minor bosses have had checkpoints placed inside the boss rooms to improve fluidity and allow music to be uninterrupted.

• The slope muncher themed level has been entirely removed reducing the exit count to 23.

• General difficulty nerfs and improvements to readability in all sections, as well as de-cheesing various flight sections, overworld cleanup.
