This stage is an arrangement of the original SMW stage called “Tubular”. It features some projectiles, balloons, and the law of inertia which means your speed will be preserved at a moment when you get a balloon.

Thank you for downloading my hack!
I'm pretty sure that most of newest emulators should work well, but old SNES (1.4x)
and the accuracy mode of Higan may not be compatible with VWF dialogues. I made a room
in the emergency level to check whether your emulator is compatible with the dialogue.
If the message is properly shown in the room, your emulator must have no problem with VWF
dialogues, at least.
If you encounter fatal bugs while you're playing the game, that will be too bad...
In this case, it'd be really appreciated to report them.
1. Description
This stage is the arrangment of the original smw stage called "tubular". It features
some projectiles, balloons, and the law of inertia which means your speed will be
preserved at a moment when you get a balloon.
The difficulty is way harder than gnarly or forky. 1/3~1/2 slowdown must be needed for
some segments, especially for those involved with P-balloons and physics abuse. This time
using slowdown is officially recommended unlike my other stages.
2. Hints/set-ups/stories/trivia/whatsoever(useful or not)
2-1. It might be much helpful if you know some strateges for shmup games.
For example, there are bullets flying straight to you. You can lure them when you get
aimed, to obtain/widen the safe area.
For those who are not familiar with shmup games, here's a more detailed hint (just an
example). At the very first part of this stage, you should make a gap between two
bullets by alternatively repeating a) and b).
a) stop moving and gather some bullets in the same angle.
b) move fast to widen the angle between two projectiles.
In this hack, there are no randomly flying projectiles. But there are quite many kind
of patterns. You should decide proper movement for each situation. Of course there are
some unfair patterns that need trial and errors, because it's kaizo.
2-2. The law of inertia
The falling/rising speed right before getting a balloon, is equal to the one right after
getting a balloon. That seems to make sense (I don't know if it's physically true).
You can use it to soar rapidly. On the other hand, note that you will also fall rapidly
even after you inflate, which may be one major foe in certain segments. If you want to
avoid that, you should get balloons before your falling speed is increased. But the
speed changes within a few frames by gravity (and it also affects the soaring speed).
Being aware of this, you can do various attempts with respect to the balloon-eating
timing.
2-3. The followings are to prevent backtracking that can be very deep.
- When you encounter the first P-balloon, you should not get it immediately. It's for
soaring rapidly to avoid danmaku.
- In the boss fight of fruit dealer, P-switches fall from left or right. If the fruit
dealer is in the left side of the screen, a P-switch is likely to fall from right and
vice versa.
- In some parts of the autoscrolling sections, your movement should be optimized.
That means you're at the right of the screen as much as possible.
- In the vertical sublevel, you should not lose the feather after getting it.

4. Known issue
There are no OW events currently because they don't work. I confirmed that it's due to
the old lunarfix.exe or SA-1 pack (1.03). I hesitate to transfer to the newest SA-1 pack,
since it doesn't support lunarfix.exe so that I should use the newest Lunar Magic which
is not compatible with the multiple midpoint patch. So, please let me wait a newer
version of the midpoint patch before I fix that.
