Finding the balance between a challenging (sometimes) puzzle and one that doesn't translate beyond my own mind was probably the hardest
thing about this entire creation. The level is entirely optional so if you hate it, skip it.
****SPOILERS FOR THE ESCAPE ROOM****
Enter the painting inside Wario's house
Clock - Westminster Chimes plays in the music room and chimes seven times. Waluigi mentions this song makes him JUMP for joy.
When the clock points to seven, jump to reveal a hidden mushroom. This allows you to get the teleport item to then reveal
the code Up Down Right
Eggs - Count the number of yoshi eggs in the painting and enter that into the corresponding colors to unlock the door. This reveals
the code Left Down Up
Race - Talk to each of the racers to figure out exactly where they placed in the race
Koopa - wearing the gold medal, mentions no racers were close to him
Chuck - wearing the silver medal
Rex - wearing the bronze medal
Drybones - mentions how Rex beat him, but doesn't specifically say where he placed. figure out the rest to get his.
Magikoopa - says he only beat the "small fries" eluding to bob-omb and goomba
Bob-omb - finished the race
Goomba - did not finish
Enter the room with all the statues of the racers and hit the blocks in the order they placed from first to last and get the
code Down Down Down
Bernie - Talk to Bernie, he mentions the upcoming debate. TV shows preview of Obama and Romney talking. Portrait of Obama on the wall
indicates that Obama is currently president. Go outside, Waluigi is watching fireworks in red white and blue. Notice Bernie
is also carrying a red white and blue flag. This indicates July Fourth 2012. Enter 07/04/2012 in the date room and get the
code Left Up Up
Dust - Mario and Luigi are asking you to help them clean. Search the room for carryable items that you can clean. There are a stack
of dirty dishes and a dust ball. Run them under the sink to reveal a new item. The dust ball reveals a missing piece of one
of the paintings in the room. Bring the missing piece to the painting and reveal the code Left Up Right. Step on the clean
dishes and find the door that appears to reveal Toad's dirty little secret.
Sprites - In the clue room, it shows a set of sprites. Below the sprites, it says equals Mario. The amount of sprites corresponds to
the letter they represent. 1 mushroom - M, 6 Goombas - A, and so on.
1 Mushroom - 1st letter M
6 Goombas - 6th letter A
4 Stars - 4th letter R
3 Spinies - 3rd letter I
4 Thwomps - 4th letter O
This gives you the key to the sprite answer room. The sprites sets are numbered 1-5 and spell out a word corresponding to
the room they represent. This gives you the order to enter the code
Enter the code UDR LUR LDU DDD LUU at the controller in the main room to bring you to the final puzzle. The monk tells you a riddle
that directs you to the last word of each racer in the order they placed which says - There Is A Pipe Above Drybones Statue. Enter the
race answer room and find the hidden pipe above drybones. This takes you to the actual level to beat.
