Burning Star

After a year of intermittent development, my first hack, Burning Star, is finally complete! This hack is meant to be fast-paced and fun. While there are definitely challenging sections, none are meant to be overwhelmingly difficult or complicated to figure out.

This hack offers 11 exits of mostly vanilla kaizo, which includes both an any% route and a 100% route:

• 1 secret exit
• 1 switch palace (optional)
• 1 bonus level post-credits for those who completed the switch palace

v1.1 Update:

• Many patches applied, including frame rule, springs, corner clips, etc
• Updates to every level, any hard to read or execute set ups have been fixed
• Vertical scroll removed from Runaway Reaction and Pneuma
• Reduced tightness all around the hack to make it more readable, playable, and less blind

v1.2 Update:

• Light clean up all throughout the hack, with indication added in numerous places to reduce any remaining blindness
• Took out unnecessary munchers wherever possible or opened up certain setups by a tile to be less punishing for the player
• Replaced the thwimp set-up in Kingdom - Room 2
• Made the second section of Toxicity totally consistent
• Double switch hit patch applied to Runaway Reaction
• Light aesthetic work in Pneuma
