It’s March, and that means that as promised here is an update. The original game is completely unmodified, but now includes a “speedrun” version of the hack which is modified to remove all cutscenes and just make the game more friendly to speedrunning in general.
Join Mario as he embarks on yet another Christmas quest to save the holidays!

This hack was made in less than 2 weeks, and that includes porting the music. I hope you enjoy it, and happy holidays!

The "speedrun edition" is modified to remove all cutscenes (except the ending) and is also slightly
easier as to be less punishing. Some sections are also modified to allow for faster traversal. If this is your first
time playing the hack I recommend playing the "original" first.

You may or may not experience extremely slight audio distortion in the songs featured in this hack.
Rest assured it's likely not your imagination if you do.
The SPC files sound perfectly fine when ran through the SPC player of the Super NT as well as SPC700 Player.
When the songs play in-game however, depending on the speakers playing them, it is possible that there may be
a small amount of crackling. Being tested through several different speakers the crackling happens on some,
it doesn't happen on others, and even the songs which do crackle vary depending on the speaker.
Funnily enough this crackling hasn't been reported by anyone except me, maybe it's time to buy a sound card?
