Set up the rom like any other romhack (project64 is recommended, other emulators tend to lag more)
Move hires_texture into your emulators "plugin" folder
Select a graphic plugin, that allows hi - res textures (Mudlord rice's plugin is recommended, Glide works too)
Configure your graphic plugin settings and in the "texture enhancement" tab, select "use hi - res textures if available"
Start from a new file (or one with the first 7 stars selected, if you only want to play the bonus green stars) - YOU CANT HAVE PREVIOUS COIN HIGHSCORES ON THE FILE
Note that only BoB is HD - ified. The rest of the game is still as - is.


If your FPS drops too heavily, replace the "very high res" folder with the "moderately high res" folder. The game is not the most graphically impressive, but since we are rendering modern graphics with 1996 techniques, it requires a lot more processing than you'd expect.
