Step 1: get a vanilla SM64 ROM
Step 2: go to https://hack64.net/tools/patcher.php
Step 3: Put your ROM and patch into there
Step 4: it gives you a new ROM
Step 5: play the game

FAQ

Are there any recommended settings?

    - This hack can run with 4mb, but framebuffer emulation is recommended. There is no consequence to not using it, so feel free to ignore this answer in particular. However, if you do have the ability to use framebuffer emulation and you choose not to, I have put a harmless measure in place after you score 25 points or more >:)
