NPCLess 64

This hack removes every NPC from the game, significantly winnowing down the amount of Power Stars you are able to collect. This hack can be considered a spiritual successor to “Super Mario 64 But Every Object Is A Coin” by CoolingCake. This hack requires certain glitches used in speedruns to obtain certain Power Stars. Some levels are extremely close to vanilla, as they do not feature any NPCs. This hack defines an NPC as a boss, an entity that spawns a boss, an entity that can be spoken to, or an enemy that spawns a Power Star or is required to reach it (such as the Thwomp in Tick Tock Clock).
