Danganronpa 64

A hack based on the Danganronpa series, including many of the gameplay mechanics of said series.

***THIS IS A REQUIRED READ TO PLAY THE GAME!!!***
- CONTROLS -
This hack does not require the L button, but certain sections in this hack are in first-person mode, requiring the second player’s analog stick to be mapped, most comfortably to the right analog stick of a standard controller. The C-Buttons also must be mapped for sections outside of first-person, and the D-Pad is used in the final section of the game, where it will be explained how to use it.
- GRAPHICS -
For the most optimal playing experience, I recommend you play on GlideN64 (dll in .zip), as other graphics plugins can produce unwanted texture errors. Along with this, you should also turn the framebuffer off, as this removes the obstructing bars from the sides of the screen and reduces all input lag in general.
*To use the GlideN64 plugin, put the .dll file in the Plugin/GFX Plugin folder of your emulator, reload the emulator, then go to your plugin selection menu and select it.
- AUDIO -
While keeping the audio of the game on is not necessary, it would be appreciated if you could do so, since QJRocks and mrcool909090 worked very hard on the soundtrack, and it improves the atmosphere tremendously!
- SETTINGS -
Finally, once you’ve loaded the ROM, change the memory size to 8MB and the counter factor to 1, then reload the ROM, and it will be playable!
For more advanced users, you may also have the CPU Core set to Interpreter mode. Make sure this is not on (for lag purposes), and instead switch it to Recompiler mode, then reload the rom.
After this setup, the full experience of the Danganronpa 64 Demo can be enjoyed! Thank you for playing our hack!
