Hello! Thank you for playing my SM64 Rom Hack, "Christmas Dream!"

This hack features one custom level with 7 stars in total (including the 100 coins).

To patch the rom, you will need Floating IPS (flips) and an unmodified copy of SM64 (USA).

-Music-

Ulrik Ruud Rostrup - Midi

cpuHacka101 - Original Frappe Snowland

I modified cpuHacka101's original conversion of Frappe Snowland. I converted every single other song in the game myself. Ulrik provided the midi for one of the songs.

-Tools-

I used multiple tools. Some of these tools include SM64 Rom Manager, Quad64, and Seq64. Many of these tools can be found on https://docs.google.com/document/d/1pSYR91UiMVKnP3PyvJiCdwRF5wNS_nZzMe-r2WPQUJk/edit.

-Textures-

I forget where I got most of my textures, but I think they come from SMWCentral. Some are ripped from Banjo-Kazooie and SM64.

-Models-

I made most of the models myself. Some of the models are modified versions of SM64 and Banjo-Kazooie models.



<<NOTE IF PLAYING ON CONSOLE>>

There seems to be a weird visual glitch with the black bars on console. I found that the best way to fix this is to load a normal copy of SM64 on the everdrive, reset, and then load the hack.



<<IF PLAYING ON EMULATOR>>

If you are playing on emulator, make sure you have the right settings for SM64 rom hacks (see picture). It is recommended that you use this version of PJ64, but many other emulators work fine: https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/137689925976981504/702151820155420722/Project64_SM64_RH_Prebuilt.zip.

If you are playing on emulator, then you have the option to use Kaze's Analog Camera (Star Cam). You can enable it by setting the second player's Control Stick to your controller's right stick. Also make be sure to remap the LEFT and RIGHT C-buttons to something else.

<<IF PLAYING ON WII>>

In the release folder, there is a .wad file. You can inject this file into a softmodded Wii to play on said Wii. There are plenty of tutorials online to do this. To learn how to softmod your Wii, I recommend using https://wii.guide/.
