Unfortunately, this hack suffers the unforeseen drawback of only running on the “Mupen64Plus-Next” core for the Retroarch
emulator (as far as I know). I sincerely want to apologize for this inconvenience. I had been testing my hack on this emulator
all along and only just recently found out that it does not seem to work on PJ64 or Parallel64 (at least out of the versions I
and play testers have tried). Luckily, setting up the core is very simple. Install the Mupen64Plus-Next core in Retroarch by
going to Online Updater, then Core Downloader, then select Nintendo 64 (Mupen64Plus-Next).

Now you can load the rom and go into the options menu. Here, you should set the following settings:

Vi Refresh (Overclock): 2200
Framerate: fullspeed

This will significantly reduce lag.

Now you should be all set to play A Terrible Fate! If anything seems off or there are more settings you have questions about,
there is an in-depth tutorial for setting up cores in Retroarch in the pinned resource document in rom-hack-discussion. Thanks for playing
and sorry again for the inconvenience!
